OUR STORY
Nuremberg Free Walking Tours started in 2016 as a student’s side project. Even now, that we’re a team of 10 tour guides who cover 15 tours in three languages per week, we appreciate, that all of us got a life besides tour guiding. We really live in that city and know it inside-out. We want to give you a little insight to how life here is and how Nuremberg’s history shaped it. All the time through it was important to us, to stay independent from big umbrella-companies and provision-payers. As individual as our guides’ stories are also the tours. Join one of them to get to know us better!

I travelled a lot myself and that was when I realized how beautiful and culturally rich actually my home-city is! I wanted to share my love to this town with humans from all over the world. That’s why in 2016 I found the “Nuremberg Free Walking Tours“ organization.

Nuremberg is a wonderful city, full of old history, romance, tradition, but also modern art. The magic and beauty can be found in the small streets in the old town, where the stories from people, who lived centuries ago still talk to you. I already lived in a couple of cities and when I came back to Nuremberg I saw the city with different eyes. I want to share my love for this place and love to show visitors the city from the same perspective I saw it, when I came back.

¡Hola! I’m Gaby, from Mexico. I came 3 years ago to Nuremberg to study my master degree. As the university faculty is conveniently located inside the old town, I have had the chance to explore the city throughout these years.I find walking through the Altstadt so enchanting, with its cobblestone streets and half-timber houses, its imponent wall and towers and the Kaiserburg overlooking the red roofs.During my tour, you will hear about the history of Nuremberg, rich in events and legends, and will get to know my favorite romantic sights of the old town.

My name is Fernanda and I come from Sao Paulo/ Brazil. The first time I saw Nuremberg was during Christmas time 2014. I fell in love with this amazing medieval city and it is always a pleasure to show it to others!

Hi my name is Steffi I moved from the countryside to Nuremberg 5 years ago to study Art. Meanwhile I can proudly call this gorgeous, vibrant city my home. Medieval architecture, Renaissance paintings and a rich contemporary art scene are just a few things that depict Nuremberg’s cultural value and let my artist’s heart beat higher. Join me to see Nuremberg from an art-historical perspective and let me guide you through winding streets and over narrow bridges following the footsteps of Emperors and Artists!
